Blankets typically off-gas a bit when first unboxed, but this blanket performed better than expected. We didn't detect any unpleasant smells, just a fresh, new fabric scent. We first tried using it as a pillow, and it was incredibly soft and comfortable on our faces. We also tried setting the heat on medium, and we believe this would be a very comforting pillow to hug on cold winter nights.

I got the blanket for my daughter. The size is suitable for her. She always complains that it's too old in her office so I got this blanket as a gift for her. so for so good, I am going to buy another one for myself too.

The blanket is thicker than expected. It's very soft and warm. I love it's material. It has three heating levels, but I prefer not turn on the heat now since it's not very cold here. I am pretty sure it will help me go through this winter.
